We’ll set off on a ferry ride from San Francisco, touching down in Larkspur at the foot of Mt. Tam. Our home that night is campsites surrounded by redwood trees in Samuel P. Taylor State Park, a perennial local favorite.
Day 2 – From the Redwoods to the Water
Today we’ll shift gears and leave dry land behind. After a morning ride through Pt. Reyes, we’ll explore Tomales Bay by kayak. Our kayak trip will end at a bayside campsite, where a bonfire, BBQ’ed oysters, and new friends will make it a night to remember! Sleep under the stars after a nighttime paddle to experience the magic of bioluminescence on the water.
Day 3 – To the Top of Mt Tam
After paddling back to our bicycles, we’ll climb up the infamous Seven Sisters to the top of Mt. Tam, enjoying some of the most beautiful views the Bay Area has to offer, before we cruise over the Golden Gate Bridge to San Francisco and a celebratory lunch.
